What's happening?
Our Saturday courses offer both BSVR students and external learners aged 3 to 18 the opportunity learn and improve their English, prepare for Official Cambridge Exams and discover Chinese and French languages and cultures.
Taught by specialist teachers, the classes combine oral communication, games and interactive activities to make learning a dynamic and practical experience. The programme runs from October to June.
Preparation for Cambridge exams
Students access high-quality English classes focused on communication skills in real-life contexts. Lessons are taught by bilingual teachers who have lived in the United Kingdom or the United States. The course takes place every Saturday morning from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.
These classes combine formal teaching with songs, role play, crafts, games, competitions and debates in a balanced way. Primary and Secondary students have the opportunity to prepare for official Cambridge exams — Young Learners, KET, PET, First Certificate and Advanced — as British School of Vila-real is a Cambridge Preparation Centre.
Our youngest children are taught by multilingual teachers in Valencian, Spanish and English. These groups also have the support of an assistant teacher.

Learning Mandarin Chinese
Children aged 5 to 18 enrol in high-quality Chinese classes focused on communication skills in real-life contexts. Lessons are taught by native Chinese teachers with extensive experience in teaching the language to children and young people. The course takes place every Saturday morning from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.
These classes combine formal teaching with songs, role play, crafts and games in a balanced way. Primary and Secondary students have the opportunity to prepare for the official Confucius Institute exams, YCT and HSK.
Students are grouped according to their age and level of language knowledge, with the aim of offering a learning experience adapted to their needs and supporting solid progress in Mandarin Chinese.

Preparation for DELF and DALF exams
Students participate in high-quality French classes focused on communication skills in real-life contexts. Lessons are taught by native French teachers with extensive experience in teaching the language to children and young people. The course takes place every Saturday morning from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.
These classes combine formal teaching with songs, role play, crafts, games, competitions and debates in a balanced way. Primary and Secondary students have the opportunity to prepare for the official Institut Français exams, DELF and DALF, as British School of Vila-real is an Official Institut Français Examination Centre in the province of Castellón.
DELF and DALF diplomas have international and lifelong validity, and are recognised by universities, institutions, public administrations and companies, as well as being highly valued in the professional world.
