Developing a passion for language and literature
Students develop a deep understanding of the English language and literature through the analysis of a wide variety of texts, genres and authors. They improve their critical reading, writing and speaking skills, learning to interpret ideas, analyse literary techniques and express their own opinions with clarity, precision and confidence.
The study of literature also encourages creativity, reflection and a broader understanding of different perspectives and cultural contexts.
Developing logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Students consolidate and extend their knowledge of number, algebra, geometry and statistics through problem-solving and the practical application of mathematical concepts. They develop logical reasoning, critical thinking and the ability to analyse situations, identify patterns and find solutions in a structured way.
This learning provides them with solid tools to approach the academic challenges of future stages with confidence.
Exploring the world and developing scientific thinking
Students explore the fundamental principles of Biology, Physics and Chemistry in an integrated way to better understand the natural world around them. Through investigation, observation and the analysis of scientific phenomena, they develop critical thinking and the ability to ask questions, interpret evidence and apply scientific knowledge to real-life situations.
This interdisciplinary approach enables them to understand how different branches of science are connected.
Broadening horizons through new languages
Students progressively develop their linguistic and cultural skills in their chosen language among French, German or Chinese, expanding their ability to communicate in international contexts. Learning these languages allows them to discover new cultures, understand different perspectives and strengthen a global mindset.
In addition, language proficiency is an essential part of BSVR’s multilingual education, where 70% of students achieve A* and A grades in Languages.
Developing digital and computational skills
Students develop essential digital skills through an introduction to programming and computational thinking. They learn to analyse problems, break them down into steps and design solutions in a logical and creative way, while acquiring the tools to use technology safely, critically and responsibly.

Understanding the past
Students study the civilisations, events and social processes that have shaped the world over time. Through the analysis of different historical periods and perspectives, they develop the ability to interpret sources, make connections between past and present, and understand how decisions, ideas and social changes have influenced the evolution of societies.
This learning encourages critical thinking and a deeper understanding of today’s world.
Exploring the world
Students explore the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit through the study of physical landscapes, natural resources and population distribution. They analyse how human activity transforms the environment and examine the main environmental challenges facing the world today.
This learning develops their ability to interpret different geographical realities and understand the challenges of an increasingly interconnected world.
Developing Spanish proficiency and communication skills
Students develop their written and spoken communication skills in Spanish, improving their ability to understand, analyse and express ideas with clarity, precision and confidence.
Through the study of language and literature, they explore different genres, authors and perspectives, strengthening their reading comprehension, analytical skills and appreciation of the cultural and literary richness of the Spanish-speaking world.
Understanding people, places and the environment
Students develop an integrated understanding of the world around them, exploring how people, societies and the natural environment interact. From an interdisciplinary perspective, they analyse social, cultural and scientific aspects, connecting different areas of knowledge to interpret their reality and understand the challenges of today’s world.
This approach encourages curiosity, critical thinking and a broader view of their environment.
Strengthening local roots
Students develop a solid knowledge of Valencian, progressively strengthening their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
Through real communicative situations and academic contexts, they learn to use the language with confidence and accuracy, while deepening their understanding of its cultural richness and its importance as part of the environment in which they live.
Discovering creativity through sound and performance
Students explore the language of music through rhythm, melody and theory, progressively developing their ability to listen, perform and create. Through instrumental or vocal practice, they gain a deeper understanding of music and strengthen their creativity, discipline and capacity for expression.
Musical collaboration also helps them develop confidence and artistic sensitivity.
Expressing ideas through visual creativity
Students develop their creativity and capacity for visual expression by exploring different techniques, materials and artistic languages. Through experimentation and the creation of their own projects, they learn to communicate ideas, emotions and perspectives in a personal way, while developing their observation skills, creative thinking and confidence to express their vision.
Promoting wellbeing through movement and sport
Students develop their motor skills and discover the benefits of physical activity for their health and wellbeing. Through different sports and activities, they improve their coordination, stamina and fitness, while learning to collaborate, communicate and take responsibility within a team.
Sport also encourages discipline, confidence and a positive attitude towards challenges.
Strengthening confidence and fluency in English
Students who need additional support progressively develop their English skills through guidance tailored to their needs.
The aim is to strengthen their spoken and written comprehension and expression, increase their confidence in communicating, and support their full participation in an international, multilingual learning environment.

11.50am – 12.10pmA short break gives students time to recharge and get ready for the next learning session.
Continued learning
12.10pm – 1.50pmAfter the break, students return to class, ready to continue learning with focus and enthusiasm.
Lunch break
1.50pm – 2.50pmLearners enjoy a varied selection of healthy, nutritious meals, with menus adapted to their nutritional needs and any allergies or intolerances.
Afternoon lessons
2.50pm – 4.30pmAfter lunch, students return to their activities, ready to keep discovering, learning and growing.

4.45pm – 5.45pmStudents can take part in our extra-curricular activities programme, available from 4.45pm to 5.45pm, Monday to Friday.
