A commitment to excellence has placed British School of Vila-real among the leading schools in Spain. Recognised by Forbes, El Mundo, El Español and MiCole as a benchmark in Castellón, BSVR stands out for its educational quality, innovation and international outlook.

BSVR’s results reflect a rigorous, innovative and future-focused model, positioning the school among the best in Spain. Our students achieve 42% A–A* in A Levels and 32% A–A in IGCSEs, exceeding the UK average.

This performance, together with recognition from Forbes, El Mundo, El Español and MiCole, supports access to prestigious universities around the world and reinforces a strong record of academic achievement.

Our multilingual model places English and Spanish as co-official languages of instruction, enabling both to develop as first languages from the earliest stages.

In an environment with more than 39 nationalities, students can become proficient in up to five languages, including Valencian and a further language such as French, German or Chinese.

This approach, reinforced by excellent academic results — including 70% A* and A grades in languages — prepares students to access international universities and thrive in a global world.

We apply international methodologies that place students at the centre of learning, aligned with our Learning.First™ approach. Through data-informed strategies, active learning and programmes such as TEAM Time, students develop critical thinking, creativity and independence.

Learning becomes a meaningful experience in which each student understands their progress and plays an active role in their development.

We support each student on their academic and professional journey through continuous, personalised guidance. Initiatives such as Navigating Your Future connect students and families with international universities, alumni and experts, helping them make informed decisions aligned with their goals.

This support provides a strong foundation for university access and professional development.

Technology is a key tool at BSVR, enhancing learning and making progress visible. As a school, we use Google Workspace for Education to encourage collaboration, organisation and digital skills.

Students also work in advanced technology environments with Chromebooks, iPads, robotics, programming and artificial intelligence tools, preparing them for any future digital context.

Our campus offers a safe, innovative environment focused on student wellbeing, with facilities including science laboratories, a STEM Lab, library, Discovery Room and creative spaces.

These environments encourage experimentation, creativity and practical learning, ensuring that every student feels supported, valued and motivated in their daily development.

Through our Life Competencies programme and ISP’s educational approach, we develop essential skills such as leadership, resilience, empathy and adaptability.

Programmes such as OLLIE PSHE from an early age strengthen emotional intelligence and wellbeing, shaping students who are prepared not only academically, but also personally and socially.

Learning is extended through activities, spaces and programmes that enrich the educational experience.

From creative projects to international exchanges and global collaborations, students develop new skills, discover their talents and gain confidence in a dynamic and motivating environment.

Our multicultural community and membership of International Schools Partnership connect students with more than 100,000 students in 25 countries.

Through international experiences, exchanges and collaborative projects, students develop a global mindset and a real understanding of the world.

ISP schools are a shared ecosystem of innovation and ambition. Students embark on a dynamic and personalized learning journey, guided by the transformative Learning.First™ approach, unique only to the ISP family of schools.
